Join us for the Aphasia Awareness Fair, an opportunity to learn about
aphasia advocacy and information on aphasia resources in the Delaware Valley.

10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Information tables set up to showcase resources for aphasia support and care in the area
12:00 - 1:00 PM Boxed Lunch
1:00 - 2:30 PM Keynote address by Dr. Davetrina Seles Gadson (Georgetown University) titled Overcoming Obstacles to Accessing Resources for Aphasia
2:30 - 3:15 PM Stakeholder Panel Discussion of resources for aphasia, including aphasia researcher, speech-language clinician, person with aphasia, and care partner
3:15 - 4:00 PM Art and poetry from people with aphasia
4:00 - 5:00 PM Concluding with an Inspirational Choir performance
Special morning session for people with aphasia and their care partners
Conversation on Living with Aphasia from 10:00-11:45 am
Facilitated by Dr. Rebecca Hunting Pompon from the University of Delaware & Dr. Reva Zimmerman from West Chester University.
This session includes a light breakfast and free raffle basket giveaway.
